What We Do
Terra Forest develops and manages own and external reforestation and afforestation projects with our team and local partners in Colombia — improving and increasing environmental services and biodiversity in our target areas.
We have planted more than 2.5 million trees, delivered projects for the Colombian branches of Hewlett Packard and Direct TV, and are currently working primarily with European clients seeking high-quality ARR credits.
We are also structuring productive agroforestry projects with a focus on essential oils — integrating economic returns with ecological restoration across our land areas.

Blue Carbon
Terra Forest is building a dedicated blue carbon line focused on the restoration of mangrove ecosystems along Colombia's coastlines.
Mangroves rank among the most carbon-rich forests on the planet, storing most of their carbon in deep, waterlogged coastal soils. We are preparing our first mangrove carbon projects, designed for certification under leading international standards, and building alliances with environmental authorities, scientific institutions and coastal communities.

Healthy mangroves reduce waves and storm surges, protect shorelines from erosion and serve as nurseries for fish and other marine life.

The founding team brings over two decades of combined experience in sustainable forestry, agroforestry, finance, and entrepreneurship. We are co-founders of one of Germany's most recognised sustainable timber companies, have built one of the world's largest regenerative cacao plantations worldwide, among other projects.
